1. Trentino – Alto Adige
Val di Fiemme & Val di Fassa on the road. Passo Pordoi, Sella and Rolle!
Enjoy the beautiful mountains of Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa at over 2.000 m of altitude.
The starting stage is Cavalese, the main village of Val di Fiemme, a valley in eastern Trentino.
Therefore, you will climb to the Lavazé Pass, where you can admire the Catinaccio and Latemar mountain ranges at almost 2,000 m.
However, the journey has just begun!
Climb even higher and reach the Passo Gardena, an alpine pass situated at 2,121 meters between Val Gardena and Val Badia.
Then, you can continue even higher towards Passo Sella, or go down towards Canazei, the jewel of the Val di Fassa.
Now you can enjoy a good dish of canederli, the typical Trentino bread dumplings.
Go back to Cavalese crossing Predazzo, Ziano, Panchià and Tesero, wonderful villages of Val di Fiemme: you won’t regret it!
Hills, food & wine. What else?
If you are a lover of good food and villages, this is the itinerary for you!
Going through the Tuscan Metalliferous Hills, you can cross some of the most beautiful villages, such as Montieri, Radicondoli, Roccastrada, Sassetta, and Suvereto.
The entire route winds through the soft Tuscan hills that among their curves hide the best inns and restaurants.
Then, there you can taste typical dishes and enjoy a good glass of wine produced at Km 0.
For your break we recommend the Agriturismo Antica Locanda Sant’Anna in Roccastrada: the Maremma cuisine here is just that original, tasty and genuine.
Le Riviera di Levante & la Via Delle Cinque Terre.
It’s impossible not to include in our Top 5 the incredible Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, true VIPs of Liguria.
So, travel along the rocky coast of the Via Delle Cinque Terre giving you a break at every stage!
Then, don’t miss the Statue of the Giant in Monterosso and the terraced balconies overlooking the sea in Vernazza.
Finally, take a walk along the paths of Corniglia, enjoy a romantic sunset on the Via dell’Amore in Manarola and finally enjoy a delicious fish dinner in Riomaggiore.
From Agrigento to Ragusa: an unforgettable journey.
Time to move south: what do you say to go to Sicily, to discover Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples? Let’s go!
This trip has three main stops: Agrigento, Vittoria and finally Ragusa.
The journey Agrigento – Vittoria gives us incredible emotions.
Stop to visit the Valley of the Temples, a monumental archaeological park and landscape of the classical age.
Then continue along the crystalline coast of Agrigento reaching Vittoria, the characteristic town of Ragusa.
The stretch Vittoria – Ragusa is very fast: in less than 25 km you can discover the landscapes of the Sicilian hinterland and why not, maybe then continue towards the northern coast!
Discover the Trulli on two wheels.
The last itinerary we want to propose is to discover Apulia and its magic hinterland: white trulli, typical sweets, and good red wine… We’re off!
So, the journey starts in Ostuni, then continue towards Altamura, where you can stop to taste the famous bread.
Finally, with a full belly, get back on the road and pay the final stop, Matera, the fascinating Città Dei Sassi, where your Apulian itinerary will end: 140 km of pure magic.
We hope you enjoyed our trip on two wheels along with our dear Italy.
Now we want to know which is YOUR Top 5!
We are waiting for your opinion in the comments, ready to hurtle towards new horizons, all Made in Italy!
